GESHER GAZETTE – 22 July 2026

As we approach our tenth year at Gesher, this past year has been filled with significant milestones. We completed our first full set of exams, hosted our inaugural secondary phase residential program, and proudly sent off our first graduating class of 2026 on their next adventure. I look forward to what our tenth year will bring, hoping for even more firsts and the creation of lasting memories that make Gesher the special place it is.

This year has presented challenges that have encouraged us to lean on one another and strengthen our school community. Every student and staff member has contributed to making Gesher the warm, caring, and truly magical environment it is. Moreover, this year has infused us with hope, particularly during last week’s Year 11 graduation, where our graduates showcased the incredible achievements of a Gesher student.

Wishing everyone a wonderful summer and for those returning we will see you in September and for those moving on, we will see you soon.

GESHER GAZETTE – 10th July 26

This year’s summer fete was another incredible success, with the PTC raising £1,656 on the day.
However, the success is always measured by how much fun the students had, and this year was no
exception. It was wonderful to see so many families, staff, and friends coming together for the day,
and the weather really outdid itself this year. New additions like the gaming tent were a hit, and
Ritchie Rich provided fantastic entertainment that had everyone laughing. “Soak the Teacher” once
again drew a big crowd, with some brave students joining in to cool off from the heat. As always,

the food spread was utterly delicious, thanks to the wonderful support of our parents who contribut-
ed their time and efforts to bring so many tasty treats. We were also thrilled to showcase the artistic

talents of Melanie and JJ, who had their works on display for everyone to enjoy. This year, we in-
troduced a silent auction that kept many participants eagerly refreshing their screens to find out the

final winners. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event so memorable,
especially our wonderful PTC. We all look forward to next year!

GESHER GAZETTE – 26th June 26

Our Primary Sports Day took place this morning, with many of our children getting involved in a fantastic day of fun and teamwork.

Due to the extreme temperatures, our superheroes adapted to an indoor mission, where they tackled a range of action-packed challenges, including Alien Capture, Superhero Fly, Rocket Rescue, and many more, showing great effort, teamwork, and determination throughout. We rounded off the event with the ever-popular Tug of War competitions, where students and
staff went head-to-head in a series of exciting and highly competitive matches. A huge congratulations to our Sportsmanship
Award winner, Ana’el, who was recognised for consistently demonstrating kindness, teamwork, encouragement, and resilience throughout the day.

We were disappointed that the weather meant we couldn’t welcome parents to enjoy the full event with us but we appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to welcoming families back next year- hopefully with kinder
weather! Thank you to all the staff, students, and families who helped make Sports Day such a memorable success. We are already looking forward to next year!
