Term Dates

  • Gesher opens for Breakfast Club at 8:15am each morning
  • All pupils need to be in school for 8:55am for registration to be taken promptly at 9am
  • Any pupils arriving after 8:55am will be marked as late on their class register
  • Reception class day ends at 2:50pm, Year 1-3 day ends at 3pm and Year 4-5 day ends at 3:10pm
  • After school clubs end at 4pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays
  • Early Friday closing times starts 4th October until and including 3rd April – school will end at 1pm

Autumn Term 2019

Term begins for pupils on 4th of September

In term closures:

Staff Inset – 2nd and 3rd September – staff only in school

Rosh Hashanah – 30th September and 1st October – school closed

Erev Yom Kippur – 8th October – school ends at 12pm (no lunch)

Yom Kippur – 9th October – school closed

Half Term (Sukkot holiday) – 14th to 23rd October – school closed

24th October – Pupils return to school

19th of December school closes at 1pm

Spring Term 2020

Term begins for pupils on 6th January

10th February – Tu B’Shvat – school open as usual and pupils wear brown, green and pink

In term closures:

Half Term – 17th to 21st of February – school closed

Purim – 10th March – school closes at 1pm and pupils wear fancy dress

2nd of April school closes at 1pm

3rd April – 20th April – Pesach Holiday school closed

Summer Term 2020

Term begins for pupils on 21st April

29th April – Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) – school as usual and everyone wears blue and white

In term closures:

Bank Holiday – May 8th – school closed

Half Term – 25th May to 29th May – school closed

12th May – Lag Ba’Omer – school open as usual

Staff Inset – 1st June – staff only in school
