Tamaryn has been with Gesher since it opened in 2017; her initial role was as class teacher in Dvash Class working with the early years children, before moving on to her current position of Acting Headteacher. Tamaryn was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, where she completed her Bachelor of Education Foundation Stage. She has a specialism in Special Education Needs and is particularly passionate about working with children within specialist Early Years settings. Tamaryn believes that early intervention is fundamental for future learning and achievement, and her work during her time at Gesher is reflective of this ethos. Within her role as Deputy, Tamaryn has developed the curriculum across the school, and continues to adapt it further so as to ensure its effectiveness across the year groups as the cohort continues to grow.
