Gesher wishes all of its children and families as well as the wider community celebrating Rosh Hashanah this week, a happy and healthy New Year.
At this time of year children with special educational needs may struggle with the change to their normal routine and the challenges of a busy time. Here are two stories we have written at Gesher to help children manage the predictability of Rosh Hashanah and Going to Synagogue to help alleviate some anxiety.
For more information and tips on inclusivity for synagogues please read this article published in The JC and written by Gianna Colizza, Gesher’s head teacher.
With thanks to J Gateways for allowing us to reproduce their imagery in the story.
