Gesher School is an Ofsted Outstanding primary special school that provides a specialist meaningful and functional learning environment for children with special educational needs. This includes language, communication and social pragmatic difficulties. We have a specialism in autism spectrum challenges (ASC). The school has a Jewish ethos but welcomes children from all faiths and none.
An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional person to lead the school’s expansion into secondary offering 120 pupil places and play a part in its ongoing development into a Centre of Excellence encompassing Early Years Diagnosis and Assessment and a research centre, in collaboration with Professor Simon Baron Cohen and the Autism Research Trust. We are looking for a first-class leader committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our children, and importantly to further professional development and research as a part of the school’s educational remit.

The excellent financial package is based on experience and salary range is Group 8 L36-43.
