Pupils can be admitted through the academic year but the majority will take up places at the beginning of each term. Pupils will normally have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education and Health Care Plan or be undergoing a formal assessment. Parents of children with EHCPs can apply to their Local Authority to have Gesher’s education and therapeutic fees paid/partly paid. Fees are set at £31,500 per annum and parents can also self-fund. A child centred approach will enable the admissions team to ensure Gesher School is the right provision for your child, and the views of parents, professionals and the child will be taken into account.
Typically, Gesher will require a full range of diagnostic reports by professionals such as educational psychologists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists. These reports would need to be no more than two years old. If the reports are older than this you may be asked to provide an up to date assessment.
In addition to this, the Gesher team may wish to observe your child in the Gesher school environment. To the admissions policy emailed or posted to you, or to speak to our admissions team please ring 0207 884 5102 or email [email protected].
